((Sorry of rthe absents and longer post than adverage. Finally writer block and persona confusion was pretty much sorted out but still hangs around my head. Just got this straight today.))
<So, why did you want to become a trainer? I've heard a lot of different reasons form many people. Some say for fame, some for adventure, but I want to hear your reason.>
"It began with a battle I was watching. Both of the pokemon fighting were doing it for different reasons, I believe, because neither one wanted to give up. Weather it was fame, honor, or just to prove something, they both gave it there all, even though it was just a normal challege formed by two trainers. See that spark my interest in becoming a pokemon trainer. I guess I'm traveling to find something that would be just as important to battle for as those pokemon did."
<Wow. So why did you choose a bulbasaur to be your partner, none the less me. I mean, there's a lot of other pokemon that you could have chosen. And usually a trainer looks for the strongest pokemon to be their partner. I surely wasn't the strongest bulbasaur there, so why me?>
"That's because I'm interested in making good friends than training to getting praise or fame. Sure, fire types are some of the strongest types out there, but I been fond of grass types more than them, so it makes sense that I choose a grass type to start out with then another type. And I choose bulbasaur because there some of the best grass types, and I choose you because you act like my sister. She loves asking me questions and talking to and about me."
<That makes since, so...> This was about how they were after leaving the lab; Both asking and talking to eath other while walking down to route one. It's a wonder that they even made it while still having things to talk about.

<...Hmmm...how can I reach that berry?> An Oddish asked herself starring up at a berry on a tree. She wasn't the best climber and it was hard to when you didn't have any hands. She was really hungry and she wanted this berry but she couldn't reach it. The Oddish had tried running into the tree but that hadn't worked, it only woke several Spinarak's that weren't too pleased.

<That's why I...hmm? Hey, look! An oddish is over there. Didn't you say that you like grass types.> The bulbasaur asked, making sure she got her notes straight.
"Yeah, but it seem to be having a bit of trouble," he said, noticing it looking into the tree. He wasn't quite sure why though. "Usually they stay in the ground most of the time while sleeping or hinding from things that would eat them...Want to go help it?"
<Of course we should help it! It wouldn't be very nice if we walked right pass without even asking to help.> With that figured out, they both went over to the oddish to try and assist it. <Hi oddish,> she said when they were by her now. <How are you doing today?>

The Oddish turned to look at the Bulbasaur. Her leaves were beginning to wilt where she was sad and hungry. She looked down at the ground. <I'm hungry and...I can't reach that berry...its all the way up there and I'm too short> She said sadly.

<Oh...that's a problem. And I'm not strong enough to use my vines yet. Do you have an idea, Tom?> she said sadly, not wanting the the oddish to starve.
He thought it out for a while before coming to the same conclusion the oddish came to. "Can you tackle the tree to make a berry fall off?"
<Sure can,> she said before the oddish or any thing else could warn her about the spiders residing in the tree. She backed up and ran as fast as could and rammed into the tree. <Well, that kinda hurt.>
The thing that hurt was a pokeball felling out of the tree and landing on her head. Rolling next to Tomas, it open up to reveal a cyndaquil that looked pretty confused. The last he remember was a losing to a trainer's totodile and being drawn backing to his pokeball. And this person wasn't the one who was training him. <Where am I?>
"On route one. You where stuck in that tree." Tomas pointed to the tree that the now frighten bulbasaur just tackled.
<Why would I be up there?> He asked himself, not really getting it at all. <I don't recall climbing a tree or being stuck in one.>

<..A ball fell out of the tree?...Well that was most certainly unexpected> The Oddish commented as she stared at the pokeball. <..I didn't know balls grew on trees...>
There was a loud thud as a Spinarak fell from its nesting spot. There was now a rather large bump on its head. <Ok! Enough is enough! Who was it this time!?> It shouted in its rage looking at everyone.

<Eep!> Sami said, jumping back a bit. <Th-that would be me-e.> If there were two things Sami would personally like to get rid of off this earth, that would be fires and bugs. Neither did she like very much.
Gene looked a the spider with not much surprise. He thought for a few seonds before saying, <Hey, Spinarak! Do you know why I was in that tree?>
"Usually balls don't," Tom said to the oddish. "Maybe someone placed it there." He picked up the ball and saw a mark that he once saw on other ball. It was the letter RA written on the bottom half of the sphere. "This mark," he murmured to himself. "It means Released or Abandoned, but why would someone get rid of their starter pokemon..."

<Thats not very nice..> The Oddish replied shaking her head from side to side. The leaves making a rustling noise. The Spinarak glared angrily at Sami.
<How dare you knock me out of my tree!!> He yelled, waving one of his front feet in the air. He then looked at Gene. <...And why would you be in my tree!? Eh?>

<I not really sure,> he said, before thinking for a while. He than smiled and said, <I was actually hoping you would tell me!> Yes, this cyndaquil was about as clueless as a door nob.
"Hey, Cyndaquil. Would you like to join us?" he asked, wondering about how he would react to that question.
<Sure, but I still want to know how I got in that tree.> Yep. Clueless.
<I surely didn't want to knock you out of that tree,> she said, still freighting by the spinarak and cyndaquil. <I was trying to make a berry fall, not a creepy, icky bug!> If she had any sense left, she would have held back her tongue, but seeing both her hates in one place throw off her judgment of things. She just wanted the bug to leave and take the flame-bearer with him.

The Spinarak glared at Sami, an angry tick in his eye. <Who are you calling a creepy, icky bug!?> He asked angrily. He did a karate like motion with his two front feet. The Oddish simply watched, her stomach growling.

((Sorry. Another long post. Trying to get their personalities right.))
<Oops...did that just come out?> she said nervously. She start to back a way a little while slightly laughing. <Maybe we should find another berry tree, oddish. This one might not have been the best one to find if a bug lives in it.>
Gene just sat there, still wondering why his ball would be in a tree. <Well, this isn't helping much. Why don't we move on?>
"Because this oddish here wanted a berry from this tree," Tom said, pointing to the fruit above them. "I would get, but this spinarak live in this tree and he guards it very well."
<Oh...I think I might have an idea.> He then turned toward Sami and said, <Hey, Miss Bulbasaur over there. Would you mind tackling that spider in the way? It would help us a lot.>
<What?! Are you crazy? Yes, I would mind!> She responded. She was horrified just from the thought of it. <I don't even want to touch that...that thing!>
<To answer you, yes I'm crazy. But you do want to get those berries up there, don't you?>
She stopped and thought about what he just said. Sighing, she said, <Fine. Just don't come around me while we're traveling.>
<Deal!> Sighing again, the bulbasaur gather what was left of her courage and ran forward to tackle the spider.

((Don't worry about it, sorry mine arn't that long))
The Spinarak flew back into the tree when Sami ran into him. He slid down the tree and onto the floor. However he soon got back up and onto his feet. <Hey! What the hell do you think you're doin?!> He yelled. Then quickly shot a string shot at the Bulbasaur.

<Eep!> Covered in layer of fine sticky string wasn't the best of feelings. <You had to ask me to tackle it, didn't you?> she said with a hint of anger in her usually cheerful voice. Now she was reminded of why she disliked fire type so much.
<Yep!> he said, seeing that his plan worked. <Now we are getting somewhere.>
"Huh?" Tomas was confuse till he saw what Gene was actually talking about. "Oh, it hit the tree instead of us hitting it. That should work, maybe in more than one way. Sami, could you use a growl on it now?"
She perked up some, hearing the order coming from her trainer rather than the fire type. <Sure,> she said, and growled at the spider using her pinned up anger.

The Spinarak shivered upon hearing the growl, though he quickly shook it off. <You call that a growl!?...My Mama could growl better than that!> He replied. <Get lost, all of ya!> The Oddish stared at the Spinarak, he sure was grumpy.

<Well, that was rude.> Sami was now annoyed at the spider more than scared at it. What's to be scared of if the bug just makes comments? <You should really consider learning manners from someone. I mean, how can you make friends when your always angry about people's mistakes.>
"Umm...Sami? Not to interupt your speech or anything, but could you try to use another tackle?"
<Surely I can, because no one insults me and gets away with it.> She then, dispite the strings making her slower, ran as fast as she could to ram the spider again.
